The Holodomor
Holodomor is a word used for ‘Killing by hunger’ and it is a Ukrainian word. This is done by Josef Stalin’s which forced starvation against Ukraine from 1932 to 1933. People knew what was happening but they refused to give any kind of help for the same. This increased the violence because the food shipments were not allowed in Ukraine.
Records have shown that the death toll ranged from 1.8 to 12 million. Even some of the data has shown that it was around 4 to 5 million. Moreover, if someone was found moving to another country they were sent back to starve.

From 1958 to 1962, China experienced around 45 million people getting killed. The main reasons are the communist policies of Mao Zedong and natural disasters. This period was defined as the Great Leap Forward. Due to this rule different social and economic changes were implemented. The changes led to nationwide crop shortages. The problem became even more severe because the farmers were forced to work in an industrial area. People were forced to work against their will.
