How often should you oil your hair?
The number of times you should oil your hair in a week depends upon the nature of your hair. The same factor determines the type of oil you should be using for the hair.
- Dry Hair
When you are having dry hair, then it is suggested that you should oil your hair daily. It will save our hair from getting weak or deteriorating. If daily oiling is not convenient for you, then you can choose every alternate day for the oiling purposes. If you think hair oiling is not your thing, then you are suggested to go for deep conditioning.
- Oily hair
If you are having oily hair, then make sure you are not oiling your hair regularly as regular oiling will give you a ‘Chipku’ look. It will be better for you to oil your hair at least 2 times a week. OIl your hair at night and let the oil stay on your scalp overnight and wash your hair the following morning.
It will be better if you use either the castor oil for the olive. Do not make use of the heavy oils.
- Normal hair
Thank God for giving you normal hair. Such hair is neither too dry nor too oily. You have to follow very basic measures for the maintenance of the same. But yes, no matter whether you have oily, dry or normal hair you should never omit the oiling thing. You can use coconut oil which will show the best results.
Some important tips for hair oiling
- Leave the oil overnight
Make sure you are leaving the oil-enriched scalp overnight. This will allow your scalp to obtain the maximum nourishment from the oil.
- Oil your hair at latest twice a week
OIling your hair twice a week will n let your scalp run short or deficient may require nutritional elements.
- Do not oil daily
If you oil your hair daily, then the harmful pollutants will get stuck to your hair and deteriorate its quality.
