PRP therapy simplified
Platelet-rich plasma or PRP is therapy for hair loss. It is mostly done in three steps, which demands a patients blood to be drawn, processed and thereafter administered inside the scalp.
Many people are of the belief that PRP injections activate the natural growth of hair and maintain it by boosting the blood supply sent to hair follicles and also by increasing the thickness of hair pole. In some people, this can be done in combination with other hair loss methods, as well.
PRP has been in use from the last 40 years or so. It can be used for problems like healing damaged tissues, along with muscles.
What is the PRP therapy process?
PRP therapy involves a 3 step process. Many of the therapies demand about three treatments, at a duration of about 7 weeks.
* The first thing which has to be done is that some blood has to be taken out, mostly from the arm, and then transferred to a filter, a machine which spins very fast to filter fluids having different weight.
*It is kept for around 12 minutes in the filter, the blood will then be separated in 3 layers:
red blood cells
platelet-rich plasma
platelet-poor plasma
*After which the platelet-rich plasma is taken into a syringe and then it is injected into places of the scalp where hair growth is required.
No doubt PRP therapy is done worldwide, but there is nothing that can be done here, PRP therapy in India is considered the best, with the latest techniques, best doctors and cost-effective, there are no two ways that you would not want to get it done in India.
