Week1
During the first visit, the doctor will consult you about your health. They will know about your entire medical history so that they can give you the best treatment which suits your condition the best. Informing the fertility doctor about your health is very important. The doctor will examine the health of both partners to check what exactly the issue is.
Week 2 to 4
At this point, the IVF treatment will start and the various test will be done like ultrasound, Uterine evaluation, blood test, male fertility testing, and Infectious disease screening.
Week 5
Once the patient stops taking the birth control, they will be given fertility medications which will help in stimulating the ovaries. This process will help in producing eggs in more quantity which are of good quality also. The doctor will also call you for checking your health that you are responding well to the treatment of the test tube baby.
Week 7
After 10 to 12 days, the procedure of egg retrieval will be done which is a very simple procedure. Then sperm and egg will be fertilized together in the lab. This process helps in increasing the chances of success. Once the embryo is formed it will be put back to the women’s reproductive tract.
